The Annual General Meeting of registered and licensed members of the profession started thereafter.

THE ANNUAL DINNER

The year 2008 IT Professionals’ Assembly was rounded off with a well – attended closing dinner. The dinner also had in attendance, the Taiwanese Ambassador to Nigeria and his wife.

In conclusion, there is no doubt that the event was a resounding success. It left no one in doubt that Council was making successes out of its legally-backed mandate of regulating and enforcing standards in the Nigeria IT education and practice. It is certain that the sustenance and consolidation of this effort will bring about sustainable developments in the Information Technology industry in Nigeria and open it to global competitiveness.

Judging from the success of the IT Assembly 2008, participants expressed their readiness to be part of the 2009 edition of the IT Professionals’ Assembly.
